The optimal usage of the lamp increases its useful life and reduces replacement costs in four different ways:
- Individual addressing allows toggling of lamp use, according to different standards, without over-lighting, as is the case with conventional systems.
- The individual control of the luminaire and intelligence of the system will also take action in case of luminaire failure. It will turn on a luminaire next to the failed one—all while respecting the photometry.
- Using the TLACS will help to equalize lamp usage. In fact, with a line rotation of luminaires, we can spread out the lifetime of lamps.
- The system supports different activation delays to protect the lamps. By extending the lamp’s useful life and using substitute luminaires in case of failure, relamping can be postponed—ensuing in a major reduction in maintenance costs.
