Lumen maintenance

In order to ensure that they meet lighting requirements, tunnel operators using conventional systems have to plan for worst case scenarios when it comes to photometry inside the tunnel. Whatever the length of the cleaning cycle, tunnels are always over-lighted from the beginning to almost the day before the planned cleaning maintenance. This is performed to make sure that the lumen’s level is appropriate when the luminaires are dirty.

The TLACS offers a dynamic adjustment of luminance according to the real dirtiness of the luminaires, avoiding over lighting between cleaning maintenance periods.
