the <strong>East Side Transit Tunnel<\/strong> in Providence, Rhode\u00a0Island.<\/p><p>The system, integrating 110\u00a0luminaires under <strong>TLACS\u2011U<\/strong> control, is part of a Rhode\u00a0Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) project to modernize the East Side Transit Tunnel.<\/p><p>Built in 1914 to facilitate the ascent of streetcars up College\u00a0Hill, the East Side Tunnel is a key element of the transit infrastructure linking downtown Providence to its eastern neighborhood.
