This week, our team is commissioning a brand-new lighting control system in the Knapps Hill Tunnel on US 97A, located six miles southwest of Chelan, Washington.
The tunnel has undergone a major upgrade featuring:
- Installation of 160 new LED luminaires
- A state-of-the-art TLACS-U smart lighting control system to monitor and adjust the lighting
The TLACS-U system automatically adjusts the tunnel’s lighting levels based on real outdoor light conditions, improving both safety and energy efficiency.
With this upgrade, users will now enjoy a safer, brighter, and more energy-efficient tunnel!
