GREEN RIVER TUNNEL UPGRADE – WYOMING
The Green River Tunnel (I‑80, Wyoming), originally built in 1966, is undergoing a major modernization project led by the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) to enhance user safety and prevent future incidents.
A new lighting and control system has been installed in the westbound tunnel. It now features 925 LED luminaires controlled by the TLACS-EM Smart Lighting System, with individual monitoring via LPC-480 controllers, significantly improving safety and visibility.
This week, one of our specialists is on site commissioning the system, ensuring reliable performance and delivering a safer, well-lit infrastructure for all users.
