CORNELL ROAD TUNNEL – PORTLAND, OR

Cornell Road is an east-west street and thoroughfare in the Portland metropolitan area, in Multnomah and Washington counties, Oregon.

Cornell Road passes through two tunnels cut into the basalt of Portland’s West Hills.

The tunnels, which date back to the 1940s, had to be refurbished and the lighting modified. Nyx Hemera’s TLACS-U solution was installed to provide better lighting for both tunnels.
