Our specialist Alex has conducted the commissioning of the Carlin Tunnel lighting system in the past few weeks.
The Carlin tunnel is a twin-bore four-lane tunnel located between the cities of Carlin and Elko, Nevada. It is the longest tunnel in the state with a length of 1,887 ft.
As the infrastructure required an upgrade of 774 luminaires, the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) called upon Nyx Hemera Technologies for the second time, entrusting them with the installation of the latest version of the TLACS-EM solution, the power line luminaire control system. Nyx Hemera had already installed a first version of TLACS-EM on the site 10 years ago.
