SAFETY AND COHABITATION BETWEEN ROAD USERS WITH TLACS
The Cody Tunnel, the only access to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, was facing safety issues due to the increasing number of pedestrians and cyclists using this narrow passage.
When the sodium lighting was upgraded to LED, a button was installed at the tunnel entrance. It allows pedestrians and cyclists to signal their presence to motorists via a beacon light.
This device integrates with the TLACS SCADA, which manages not only lighting but also carbon monoxide detection, ventilation, air conditioning and uninterruptible power supply, offering optimum safety for all users.
