DESCRIPTION:
As a member of the product development team, you will be responsible for software development in the creation of the new generation of sustainable solution, including the adaptive control , system of luminaires, TLACS. We’re constantly looking for innovative ideas, and you’ll work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to improve the quality of our products and services.
More specifically, the incumbent must be able to perform the following tasks:
· Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and specifications ;
· Design, develop, test and deploy applications software in accordance with the defined specifications ;
· Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using various programming languages;
· Collaborate with the development team to solve technical problems and optimize software performance;
· Participate in the analysis of user requirements and the creation of suitable software solution ;
· Contribute to the maintenance, updates and ongoing improvements of existing applications;
· Draft internal technical documentation
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or software engineering, or bachelor’s degree in computer science or any other training and experience deemed relevant;
· Technical problem-solving and code optimisation skills ;
· Excellent communication skills to work in a team and collaborate with stakeholders;
STRENGTHS:
· Knowledge of software design patterns;
· Knowledge in Agile development;
· Knowledge or interest in Golang, Python and Linux;
· Knowledge of API Rest and the web application React;
· Knowledge of programming object-oriented C++, C# and vb.net;
· Knowledge of Microsoft Visual studio or JetBrains development environment;
· Understanding of network solutions;
· Familiar with resolution tracking and revision control tools (git – gitflow);
· Interest in embedded software ;
· Good knowledge of databases;
· Good verbal and written communication in French and English.
POSITION TYPE:
- Full-time position; 37.5 hours per week
